New microsite features video stories of distance students

June 3 -- Jeff Genge lives in St. Barbe, N.L., yet despite his physical distance from Memorial's campuses he recently graduated with his bachelor of technology. In addition to living in a remote community, Jeff works offshore on a rotational schedule and is father to three small children to whom he devotes the majority of his time when he is home.

Memorial receives national award for provincial partnership

May 26 -- A partnership between Newfoundland and Labrador's public education institutions has been recognized by the Canadian Network for Innovation in Education (CNIE) with the 2010 national Award for Excellence and Innovation in Partnership and Collaboration.
